Challenge:

To develop an educational/promotional communication for an Hispanic audience to both introduce and develop career interest in the telecommunications industry.


Solution:

We conceptualized and published a bilingual book that focused on the key components of telecommunications.  In the back of the book we included a quick–reference bilingual dictionary and word-play games.

We interviewed Hispanic art students enrolled in the talented and gifted arts programs and hired a senior who created the images.

The book Telecommunications / Telecomunicaciones was the first of its kind for SBC in the marketplace.


Result:

Telecommunications / Telecomunicaciones was utilized company-wide for regional and national Hispanic marketing programs.
